How do you find stores that do double coupons? I haven't found any in south Florida.

Different stores in different areas have lots of different policies. I would call all the local stores and ask for their coupon policy. You can also check out sites like A Full Cup or Hot Coupon World to see the best deals each week at your store.
I found out after the fact about a double coupon deal months ago, so I emailed the corporate office to find out when the next one would take place. They told me when, and the policies, and which other stores were participating.
Usually its printed on their ads, or you have to call. I think your reader is out of luck though. I think I have heard Florida refered to as the Land of No Doubles. Good luck!
Florida is the land of no doubles (I live in the Orlando area). I was really excited to hear about the Kmart doubles but sad to say the only Kmart in the area is like a forgotten soul, there is no supply, the store is nasty (my daughter saw a mouse and I saw a cockroach). The only good deal I was able to get was the Purex 3 in 1 for 1.99 (price 5.99 with $2.00 off coup doubled to $4.00).
