A week or so ago I purged my coupon stash of all the July 31 etc coupons. Dumped them all in the trash.
A few days later, I read CFO's reminder about passing on expired coupons to military families who can still use them. The only provision to donate these is that they have to have expired no longer than six months ago.
She even provided a link to The Happy Housewife who will forward them on for you! I wish I would have seen this earlier and donated mine instead of trashing them. Oh well. Now I know for next time!
So go ahead and donate yours to make up for my mistake!

If it helps, one thing I do is keep an envelope on my desk, and as I come across expired coupons, I put them in. Then, once a month or so, I'll actually sort through all of my coupons to cull the expireds, and then I send them off to Toni.
